This is the world, I am bound to. My consciousness may be able to travel wherever the crystal leads me to. But so far, my body remained here, constrained to stay in this place.

The world I live in is vast but empty. There is not much here to be seen. Usually nothing else can be seen towards the horizon but this seemingly endless field of grass. Rarely, the thin layer of fog clears up enough to reveal snowy mountain tops, faintly glistening in the distance. More often than not, they are hidden in the haze, making this seem like an infinite expanding plane.

Yes, I once tried to reach these mountains. But for some reason, after walking for exactly an hour, I found myself back where I had started. Here at this big crystalline structure.

It is this crystal I was “born” from and which allows me to travel to other worlds with my “soul”. Its fain blue glow filling me with energy and warming me up at night.

Although, I don’t really have a lot of these “feelings” in this world. I don’t feel warm or cold, Hungry or thirsty, tired or awake.
But I do “feel” exhausted, after a longer journey to another world.
I do “feel” happy, when I can share my thoughts with Miingno.
And I do “feel” lonely, when I cannot talk to Miingno.

There are other things here at this place and it is slowly changing and evolving, when I am away in a different world.
It started out with just the crystal. Then the sky and a ground appeared, followed the grass field. There are a few trees and shrubs surrounding the area and recently, ruins of buildings appeared.

Miingno is eager, trying to make sense of this.
